Following on from our advice on how to create a fantastic CV (CV Tips) we are delighted to bring you an example. Our fictitious CV writer has spent his working life in recruitment and sales and is looking for a new role:
1 The Street
I am a hardworking, intelligent sales person and have spent my working life in sales and recruitment in Brighton. I have become very knowledgeable in most areas of recruitment in Brighton in addition to developing a strong ability to develop business and close sales. Having had several branch manager positions in Brighton I am also experienced in managing staff. I am keen to take on a new challenge in recruitment in Brighton. I am excellent with computers and find I adapt quickly to any package presented to me.
2006 - Date

My key responsibilities in this challenging role include establishing relationships with Brighton companies, as well as companies further afield, maintaining an excellent working knowledge of positions in Brighton and recruitment in Brighton and ensuring the smooth running of my branch through effective management of my team. Our main focus is Brighton recruitment which I feel that I have assisted by making sure that I attend local networking events and conferences. I have been able to significantly improve our Brighton business as well as business as a whole. My best achievement has been to establish a relationship with Brighton & Hove City Council / East Sussex County Council. We were able to fill these public sector jobs very efficiently.

During my work here we specialised in temporary recruitment in Brighton. I was responsible for a team of 8 making sure they remained motivated and effective. I put in place achievable targets and a reward scheme to ensure staff morale. I also established excellent relationships with Brighton businesses in order to help with their temporary recruitment in Brighton.

I started as a trainee consultant and in just 2 years advanced to a senior consultant position. It was during my time here that I gained knowledge about recruitment in Brighton and received a great amount of training including the legal and regulatory aspects of recruitment, management skills and sales. I was also consistently the top sales person for my branch.

This was my first job after leaving my education and I began as a junior in their telesales department and rose to the position of senior advertising sales executive. My main responsibilities included maintaining relationships with Brighton companies in order to receive their recruitment advertising.
