This opportunity is open to recent graduates or those with some existing work experience prior to university. You will have a degree that requires strong analysis skills and numerical abilities such as IT, mathematics, business, statistics, physics etc.

Overview of role:

  • Develop appropriate software to a high technical standard ensuring that it meets the ongoing business needs
  • Test software to confirm it meets business requirements
  • Assist the IT Manager to analyse business requirements and design appropriate solutions
  • Monitor all systems as required
  • Provide user support to agreed standards as required
  • Efficient implementation of software changes
  • Complete and report on projects allocated
  • Ensure effective and timely reporting as required
  • Keep abreast of changes in technology and recommending improvements to current systems and processes

Requirements:

  • Educated to Degree level with an 'A' level in Mathematics

  • Existing experience with Oracle PL/SQL and data warehousing techniques would be a bonus
