Harvey John are working with an industry-leading, reputable client based in the Burgess Hill area on a new opportunity for a dedicated Assistant Accountant to join their business. This is an established organisation where you'll report into an experienced Financial Controller alongside several finance colleagues. The Financial Controller has a focus on staff development and engagement and will put significant time and effort into ensuring this individual's career progression and job fulfilment.

Role overview:

• Advising on any PL / SL queries
• Ledger analysis and investigating any discrepancies
• Budget variance analysis
• Accruals and prepayments
• Assisting with the preparation of management accounts and analysis

Ideally you will have existing experience of assisting with mgmt. accs production and budget variance analysis.
