A well respected and long-standing organisation based in Brighton is seeking a Temporary Finance Assistant to assist with a backlog of Finance related responsibilities. This is a highly supportive and collaborative office environment where hard work and commitment are rewarded and acknowledged.

Initially this is a temporary position, likely to run for at least 2 months.

The role is a busy and varied one which will report directly to the Head of Finance as part of a medium sized accounts team. Candidates need to be familiar with general journal processing with a focus on maintained accuracy and attention to detail.

Key responsibilities

• Credit Card Statements – matching to documentation and posting journals
• Standard monthly journals
• Month-end Accruals
• Utilities reconciliation
• Fuel recharges reconciliation
• Filing
• Any other duties / ad-hoc responsibilities

This business is very easily accessible via public transport but doesn't offer onsite parking.
