A well-established accountancy practice are looking for an Accounts Semi-Senior to join their growing team, based in Maidstone, Kent.

The role will primarily be focussed on accounts preparation, however, some experience of audit would be an advantage. It would suit someone who is studying for the ACA or ACCA or who has completed the AAT and has a few years working within an accountancy practice post qualification. Study support for an accounts qualification is available.

Experience within corporation tax or personal tax would be an advantage and would allow a greater variety of work within the role. Management accounts will be the main focus of the role, however, there will also be some element of tax preparations. It would be advantageous to have experience in processing accounts on Sage, Xero or QuickBooks.

The office is in central Maidstone and is just a short walk from Maidstone West train station.

About You

• AAT and/or ACA/ACCA qualified
• Those who are studying the ACA/ACCA are welcome to apply
• Strong experience in an accounts environment
• Comfortable dealing with all levels of individuals
• Confident liaising with clients
• Should have a minimum of 2 years practice experience

The salary associated with this role has been set by the agency and should, therefore, be viewed as market rate.
