We're currently recruiting a much-sought-after entry level opportunity as Group Purchase Ledger Controller. Full training will be given to individuals and there will be longer term opportunities for career development after individuals have proven themselves at this level. This role itself has arisen due to an internal promotion within the business, after a couple of years in this post.

Our client is a highly entrepreneurial business based in central Brighton. This dynamic, modern business is building upon several years of healthy growth and expansion into new markets. They have notably attractive offices and are presently award-winning leaders in their specialist field.

Overview of duties:

  • Posting purchase invoices/credits;
  • Uploading invoices onto Finance system;
  • Reconciling supplier accounts;
  • Allocating payments against invoices;
  • Preparing supplier payment runs;
  • Dealing with queries from suppliers;
  • Monthly reconciliation and revaluation of intercompany accounts;
  • Management and monthly reconciliation of company credit cards;
  • Posting of bank receipts;
  • Allocating bank receipts;
  • Setting up online banking payments;
  • Monthly reconciliation and revaluation of bank accounts for the Group;
  • As well as other ad hoc duties and projects;
