A key client of ours is currently seeking a detailed focused and hard working finance administrator to join their flourishing business. This is an award winning organisation which has a presence across the country and industry leading reputation. Some existing Purchase Ledger / general accounts administration experience is required in order to be considered for this role but it is still open to people at a junior level. Alternatively, a capable and experienced purchase ledger professional looking for a change of scenery and fresh start would be of great value to them.

Job overview:

  • Dealing with all correspondence and enquiries from suppliers
  • Maintaining supplier records
  • Posting and agreeing invoices & credit notes to their supplier account
  • Communicating with suppliers on all aspects of their account
  • Providing payment runs as required
  • Monitor and reconcile supplier statements
  • Review and analyse invoices and credit notes
  • Update the data which is passed through the system to the supplier accounts to be paid as appropriate
  • Support staff through the accounts payable workflow process
  • Dealing with all correspondence/enquiries from other internal staff, supplying information and taking appropriate action as requested
  • Supplying reports and statistics as requested

The ideal candidate will be an effective team player with excellent attention to detail and good communication skills.
