A strong, independent Sussex firm of chartered accountants are looking to welcome an experienced Accounts Manager to their office in Lewes. Based a short walk from Lewes railway station, the office has good transport links by train and bus as well as onsite parking.

About you:

• Should be ACA/ACCA qualified or qualified by experience
• Have recent, strong experience working in an accountancy practice
• Prior experience of managing your own portfolio of clients
• Possibly looking to join a larger firm to develop your skills with larger clients and more complex work
• Confidence to hit the ground running
• Comfortable managing staff
• First class communication and presentation skills
• Being happy to travel locally and have access to a car is preferable

• Managing your own portfolio of accounts work
• Identify efficiency savings and development opportunities
• Work as a key point of contact for your clients, offering effective advice
• Managing seniors and trainees
• Working closely with the senior managers and partners
• Responsible for training and mentoring of junior staff, including answering queries and providing technical advice

Salary Guide:

£38-45k depending upon experience. This range should be seen as a guide set by the agency. Your expectations will be discussed upon application.
