Farm Food Sales & Distribution Manager
Goodwood Home Farm is at the heart of our estate, producing high-quality, sustainable food with true provenance.
We’re looking for a Farm Food Sales & Distribution Manager to drive the growth of our wholesale and retail operation. This is a dynamic and hands-on role, combining sales, account management, and logistics, where you’ll play a key part in expanding our customer base and ensuring our products reach customers efficiently.
This is a fantastic opportunity to shape the future of our Farm Food offering while working within a passionate and collaborative team.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll take the lead on developing sales and strengthening customer relationships, including:
- Growing wholesale and Farm Shop retail sales
- Managing and developing existing customer accounts
- Identifying and securing new business opportunities
- Maintaining strong customer communications and follow-up activity
- Supporting product development, merchandising, and retail performance
Alongside this, you’ll oversee key operational areas:
- Managing delivery logistics and leading the delivery team
- Reviewing and improving delivery routes for efficiency and profitability
- Taking ownership of milk vending operations and future expansion
- Supporting accurate order processing, reporting, and revenue tracking
- Producing regular sales reports and performance insights
- Ensuring compliance with traceability and legislative requirements
You’ll also support the wider team during peak times, events, and holidays, helping to keep everything running smoothly.
What you’ll bring
- Prior experience in sales, account management, retail, or customer service is desirable
- Confidence managing customer relationships and driving business growth
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to balance commercial thinking with operational delivery
- Confidence using Microsoft Office, including Excel, and relevant systems
- A proactive, hands-on approach with a collaborative mindset
- Strong communication skills and a natural ability to build relationships
- An interest in food, farming, or high-quality produce
