Salary £23,000 – 25,000pa + 20% bonus

Industry-leading European business based with Headquarters in Brighton is looking for a bright and ambitious graduate to join their IT function in the role of Graduate IT Analyst. This opportunity is open to recent graduates or those with some existing work experience prior to university. You will have a degree that requires strong analysis skills and numerical abilities such as IT, mathematics, business, statistics, physics etc.

Overview of role:

  • Develop appropriate software to a high technical standard ensuring that it meets the ongoing business needs
  • Test software to confirm it meets business requirements
  • Assist the IT Manager to analyse business requirements and design appropriate solutions
  • Monitor all systems as required
  • Provide user support to agreed standards as required
  • Efficient implementation of software changes
  • Complete and report on projects allocated
  • Ensure effective and timely reporting as required
  • Keep abreast of changes in technology and recommending improvements to current systems and processes

Requirements:

  • Educated to Degree level with an 'A' level in Mathematics
  • Professional communication skills
  • Analysis skills
  • Diligence
  • Interpersonal skills
  • Decision making skills
  • Existing experience with Oracle PL/SQL and data warehousing techniques would be a bonus
