The position in mind

With clients split across multiple partner portfolios, the firm are looking to bring all the client audits together under one individual. You'll be responsible for:

• Managing a team of auditors
• Reporting to and working closely with all of the partners
• Responsible for all of the audit and associated advisory work for the firm
• Using your technical expertise and experience to advise the firm as they look to expand their audit & advisory offering
• Demonstrating to the partners that you are partner material and being a committed member of the Senior Management team
• Ownership of this area of the business

The person in mind

This role would suit someone technically strong, driven, dynamic and with excellent client relationship skills. Key desirables include:

• ACA/ACCA qualified with strong, recent, practice experience
• Previous experience managing juniors/seniors
• Experience managing clients
• Comfortable managing audits from planning to completion including budgeting
• Ability to cross sell, promoting the advisory and financial investment services of the firm
• Ambitious, prove yourself and they'll reward you with partnership
• Knowledge of accounts and tax is useful to carry out the role

Salary

The salary for this role is flexible because this is such a key hire for the firm. It is likely that you will start somewhere between £45-55k but this is expected to increase as your impact on the firm is felt!
