An established, independent Sussex firm of chartered accountants are looking to welcome a part-qualified Accountant to their Eastbourne office. Based a short walk from Eastbourne railway station, the office has good transport links by train and bus. The position have opened up as a result of the continued growth and success of the firm who are now looking to expand across their 4 offices in Sussex.

Your new role
Working within the Audit and Accounts team, your role with take a mixed structure including the preparation of client accounts, a range of personal tax, corporate tax and VAT returns and planning and undertaking on-site audits. A key point of contact for your clients, you'll confidently deal with a range of queries as and when they arise. There will be some expectation that you will offer coaching and development support to more junior members of the team. Your role will require mobility whereby you will be expected to carry out work at various client premises.

About you
You'll be an active ACA/ACCA studier with recent practice experience working within accounts. Audit experience is desirable but not essential, however you should have an interest in pursuing a position with an auditing aspect. You'll be a strong team player and able to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients alike. An organised and well presented individual, you'll be able to competently manage your own workload and complete your work to a high degree of accuracy. You'll be able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office as well as previous experience with a variety of cloud based accounting software (e.g. Xero, Quickbooks, Sage).

Salary
£22-30k is a guide set by the agency and is dependent on experience, your expectations will be discussed upon application.
