A strong and independent Sussex firm of chartered accountants are looking to welcome an Accounts and Audit Team Administrator to their office in Lewes. Based a short walk from Lewes railway station, the office has good transport links by train and bus as well as onsite parking. This is a new position that has opened up as a result of the continued growth and success of the firm who now require administrative support.

Your new role

Working within the Audit and Accounts team, you will provide support with a range of administrative duties. Taking pride in your work, you'll complete accounts in a timely and accurate manner whilst liaising with Managers and Directors. You'll be responsible for the preparation of engagement letters, service level agreements as well as statutory documents. A key member of the team, you will monitor timesheets as well as the workflow process to ensure deadlines are adhered to.

About you

An experienced administrator, you will have a keen eye for detail and efficient organisational skills as well as a demonstrated history of working within a supportive role to a team of individuals. You'll ideally have prior experience of working within a professional services environment and be able to demonstrate an interest in working within an Accountancy Practice. You'll be a strong team player and communicator, enabling you to liaise with colleagues and clients alike. Showing a proactive approach to your work, you'll take ownership of your workload. Your past administrative experience will have given you excellent IT skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office and database use.

Salary

£24-25k is a guide set by the agency and is dependent on experience, your expectations will be discussed upon application.
