We are working with a regional top 60 accountancy firm on a General Practice Client Manager for their Southampton office based near Chandler's Ford. This role would suit someone with supervisory experience, looking to make the next step to Manager. Some practical audit experience is desirable.

The Southampton office is conveniently located just off of the M27, near Eastleigh, north of Southampton City Centre. There is free parking for all staff and direct bus routes from Eastleigh, Chandler's Ford and Winchester.

About You

• Should be ACCA/ACA qualified
• At least 4 years practice experience
• Strong academic background
• Looking to join a join a large regional firm
• Experience with all aspects of accountancy
• Broad knowledge of accounts
• Must have strong understanding of audit regulations and potential compliance issues
• Technically strong
• Good managerial experience
• First class presentation and communication skills

About the role

• Report to the Department Manager
• Supervise juniors/trainees
• Work closely with the other Client Managers
• Plan daily workloads
• Review accounts and audit files
• Ensure cost effective processes
• Instructing junior staff
• Responsible for time management, budget management and billing
