We are looking for relief nursery and crèche assistants who can be flexible and provide ad hoc cover for staff absences as and when required, sometimes on a regular basis.

Applicants must have the enthusiasm to work in a childcare setting supporting children in their care and learning. Candidates do not have to have a child care qualification but a willingness and understanding of the needs of children.

The role involves ensuring a welcoming, safe and stimulating environment; providing quality care and educational learning opportunities; meeting individual needs and sometimes providing 1:1 support. Duties will include taking part in adult focussed and child led activities; observing children at play and identifying next steps for development; preparing and serving snacks, encouraging good nutrition and sociable eating and working towards our policies and procedures.
