How to apply for this job

We are looking to recruit a Head of Business Operations for our Surrey based team to help us harness and continue embellishing a culture of continuous improvement.

To do this we are looking for a leader, not a boss, who can use their expertise and personality to drive down unit cost to achieve operational excellence whilst understanding staff motivation and moral are critical to support this.

The position will also work closely with the senior management team and our commercial team to help explore and identify commercial opportunities. An ability to build strong working relationships with internal staff and external stakeholders will be key and you will be a champion for the work that we do inspiring others.

The post holder will also act as the strategic process owner for the Hire to retire part of our operation on behalf of the partnership, so should also carry significant Operational HR expertise to be able to facilitate process improvement in our transactional areas. Working closely with the Corporate HR senior management you will drive the teams forward to be seen as leaders in the HR shared service industry.

The way in which we go about our work is fundamentally important to us helping support the culture we want to achieve. As such we have developed an Orbis behaviour framework which describes practical action for ourselves and what we should experience from each other. Behaviours make the values real and as part of Orbis we aim to achieve all eight. For more information please see the attached document to this advert.

To be considered for interview your CV and personal statement will clearly evidence:

  • Ability to cultivate a performance culture utilising metrics and reporting to monitor team effectiveness.
  • Experience of driving and delivering continuous improvement and change management with tangible results.
