A strong regional firm of chartered accountants are keen to welcome a qualified Practice Manager to join the team based in central Brighton, East Sussex on a part time basis.

The client is flexible on what days are worked which will be discussed on application and agreed on an individual basis.

Audit experience is not essential for this role but audit clients can be included in the portfolio if desired. This is an exciting opportunity to develop a role around you. This position would suit an Assistant Manager looking to take the next step to Manager.

The office is centrally based a short walk from Brighton train station and based within the eclectic north laine area of the city.

About You

• Professionally qualified ACA or ACCA
• Current or recent experience of working in an accountancy practice
• Competent and confident with managing a considerable portfolio of clients
• First class presentation and communication skills
• Proven managerial and supervisory experience preferred
• Knowledge of UK GAAP and reviewing accounts files for statutory and non-statutory clients
• Experience of working with charity clients would be advantageous
• Iris, Sage, Xero and KashFlow experience advantageous
