We are looking for an Experienced Occupational Therapist who is keen to work with a friendly supportive and hard working team. The Independent Living Team benefits from being an integral part of an Adult Social Care service where we actively encourage staff to work flexibly together to better meet the needs of our clients. The Independent Living Team enables greater and safer independence through an analytical approach to understanding functional need and in partnership with clients, cares and other professionals seek creative solutions. Equipment and adaptations are central to the delivery of our goals and we work alongside a modern and efficient Integrated Equipment Service to support this. Our team is comprised of Occupational Therapists, a Specialist Manual Handling Adviser, Occupational Therapy Assistants and Resource Officers for the Visually Impaired. In Brighton and Hove a key local objective is to continue improving an integrated service offer to our citizens and we have well developed relationships with other community services. We are also keen to develop our digital offer to citizens and work continues to support new online systems which will provide more choice and options to our customers.
