About the Role

The Financial Systems Team, based within Data Operations within Orbis are looking for an enthusiastic individual that will help to provide financial system support to Brighton & Hove City Council.

The main emphasis of this role is the maintenance and development of the current corporate debt management system, along with the corporate income management system, undertaking daily reconciliations, maintenance and control along with twice monthly direct debit runs and controls.

This is a varied and interesting position that would suit a person looking to expand both their skills and knowledge within a financial systems framework.

The successful candidate will need to:

- Assist in supporting users of the Corporate Financial & Purchasing Systems and providing advice to them. - Assist in maintaining the Financial & Purchasing Systems and ensuring the integrity of financial information. - Assist in the reconciliation of information held within the financial system and the transfer of information into the system. - Provide the Financial Systems Team with general administrative support.
