About the Role
Our administrators play a key role in supporting the Council - helping us provide a better service to the people of East Sussex.
Working in a ever changing and sometimes pressured environment, you'll be required to be a self starter, multi-tasking and working to strict deadlines. You will be supporting the team with Safeguarding and Duty administration, particularly taking minutes of complex meetings, as well as supporting in all aspects of general administration.
You’ll be a great communicator with strong MS Office skills and a real passion for delivering excellent customer service. You will be required to work independently on your own initiative and as part of a team with varied support needs, but we’ll make sure you get all the training and support you need to succeed.
This post will be predominantly based at Cavendish House, Hastings and at least one day per week based at The Bellbrook Centre, Uckfield. There will also be a requirement to provide cover at St Mary's House, Eastbourne.
Additional Information
Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System.
