About the Role
Priory is a very successful school with an excellent reputation. The school is consistently oversubscribed yet has a genuinely comprehensive intake. The Governors of this successful school seek to appoint:
A Teaching Assistant 3 for Mathematics, temporary until 31 July 2018. The role will involve taking one to one sessions and small group interventions as directed by the Mathematics Curriculum leader. It will also involve in class support in Mathematics lessons supporting Pupil Premium Students and occasionally completing administration tasks for the Mathematics Curriculum Area. Previous experience in a School is not necessary but could be an advantage; ideally you will have some previous child related experience from tutoring, mentoring or summer camp work.
The salary is based on Single Status, Grade 4, Spinal points 8 to 10, 16,120 to 16,778. The actual salary is 11,562 to 12,034 a year. The hours of work are 30 hours a week term time only to include some after school intervention sessions.
