Job Details

Hours of work: 25 hours per week The hours of work will be 9.00am - 12.00am and 1.00pm - 3.00pm Monday to Friday. You will have a 1/2 hour lunch break but will be expected to cover lunch duties for an additional 1/2 hour per day. This will be an MDSA role and is paid on grade 1 point 2 15013 pro rata. There will also be an opportunity to work some extra hours at our after school club which is open 3.00pm - 6.00pm Monday to Friday.

Working pattern: Part-time, Term-time only (As the position is part-time/term-time only, the above salary will be pro rata)

About the Role

Stone Cross is a successful Primary School with friendly, hardworking and supportive staff. We are committed to inclusive teaching and learning.

We are looking for a Teaching Assistant with general TA experience and with expertise/or a willingness to learn, in supporting children with a range of medical and SEND (special educational needs and disabilities) in KS2.

We are looking for someone who:

-Enjoys working with children. -Is patient and understanding. -Is committed to helping children achieve their best. -Has good levels of competency in Maths and English. -Has training/is willing to be trained in first aid/managing the needs of diabetic children.

Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System.
