We are looking for people with experience of dealing with the full range of complex employee relations casework and can manage a demanding and varied workload. Working in a small team you will play a key role in helping to deliver the Council’s priority objective of modernising the Council. You should also be committed to and be able to demonstrate how you are embracing the Council’s values. You will be delivering a professional and efficient HR Advisory service to managers and employees within the Council which builds the capacity of line managers and staff to resolve people management issues effectively and professionally. The successful candidates will have detailed knowledge of employment law and HR policy and practice. Excellent communication skills and a commitment to delivering a high level of customer service combined with the ability to quickly develop credibility and strong relationships with key stakeholders are also essential.
