Balfour Primary School is a thriving and vibrant school at the heart of the Surrenden Campus serving the Preston Park, Fiveways and Hollingbury communities. Our school is a four form-entry primary school and is one of the largest primary schools in the country with 870 pupils on roll. We are very proud of the enthusiasm and motivation that the Joy of Not Knowing approach brings to our pupils. We are also proud of our inquiry based and thought provoking curriculum, our friendly staff and governor teams and the sense of community that exists with our families and beyond our school. Following the merger in 2011, the school was judged as ‘Good’ by Ofsted in the latest inspection of November 2012.
