The main purpose of the role is to provide procurement support to the Council, including leading on multiple tendering exercises and advising on procurement policy. The successful candidate will have a strong grasp of procurement principles and an understanding of procurement legislation, including OJEU. Strong writing and numeracy skills are required, along with the ability to work independently and build up relationships with key stakeholders.
