About the Role

We are looking to appoint a Breakfast Club Co-ordinator to work alongside our Breakfast Club Assistant. We are looking for a person with excellent organisation and communication skills and who can forge positive relationships with children to ensure a good start to each school day.

Duties of the post include ordering of food, preparing, serving and clearing breakfast food. The successful candidate will also help with record keeping, organising activities for children and will have a high expectation of behaviour. It is a requirement of the post to hold a Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate, and training will be provided for this.

The post is for 6.25 hours per week, 07:45 to 08:45 Monday to Friday, term time only. The remaining 1.25 hours are for administration.

This post is covered by the Childcare Disqualification Regulations 2009. 

The school will need to ensure that they are not knowingly employing a person who is disqualified under the 2009 Regulations in connection with relevant childcare provision. Accordingly, the successful candidate will be required to demonstrate to the school, by completing a self-declaration form as part of the pre-employment checks process, that they have not been disqualified under the 2009 Regulations. 

If the preferred candidate is found to be disqualified under the 2009 Regulations, the offer of employment will be subject to the application by the preferred candidate to Ofsted for a waiver and the receipt of a waiver from Ofsted.
