You will be based primarily within the Installation Team and rotate on occasion to both ICT Service Desk and Escalation Support. Your technical / problem solving skills will be good but above all you will always have an unfailing customer communication skills, whether those customers are technical or not, and at whatever level in the Council. You will be able to deal effectively and courteously over the telephone and face to face with council employees regarding IT issues and installations. It is crucial that you are extremely well organised and are prepared to document your work meticulously in a computerised service management system. Ideally you will have extensive ICT support experience in all Windows desktop operating systems.
