Due to the retirement of the previous post holder, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced grounds maintenance manager to join the council’s grounds maintenance team. The successful applicant will take on the day-to-day management of half of Brighton and Hove’s parks and green spaces. In addition to parks and road verges, which fall under the direct responsibility of Cityparks, the post holder will be managing the grounds maintenance of some of the city’s schools, all of the city’s council housing grounds and the city’s cemeteries that fall within their allocated half of the city. School, housing and cemetery grounds are managed under service level agreements.
