Using your experience of project management and working with complex partnerships you will be responsible for driving the City Employment and Skills Plan forward, engaging with key agencies and stakeholders to achieve ambitious goals across Brighton & Hove and the wider region.

As post holder you will work with the 4 action groups that have been set up to achieve the city's employment and skills objectives.
The successful applicant will be self-motivated, have excellent communications and ICT skills along with experience of producing high quality bids and securing external funding for projects; a strong research background is required along with the ability to think creatively in problem solving. Experience of preparing reports and presentations to a range of audiences both formal and informal is also required.

This is offered as a part time role, for a fixed term of 18 months and will suit someone who is comfortable working in a dynamic and fast changing environment, who understands the challenges facing local regions and understands and is able to operate effectively in a politically sensitive environment.
