A successful Brighton based business is looking for a qualified Group Financial Accountant to join the head office finance team. The business is going through a continued period of growth and coupled with recent investment, you will enjoy a busy and wide ranging commercial role.

Centrally based just outside the train station, that commute up to London could be a thing of the past!

About You:

• Professionally qualified either ACA, ACCA or CIMA
• Technically strong with good commercial exposure
• Experience of producing statutory financial statements complying with FRS 102
• If you are looking to make the first move from practice then having completed a commercial secondment or similar would be advantageous
• First class communication skills comfortable at presenting financial and management information to key non-finance stakeholders
• Experienced at delivering quality work in a fast paced and under strict deadlines
• A team player with a hands-on attitude

• Support the Finance Director in the production of the monthly management accounts and annual financial statements
• Support the Finance Manager in their management of the finance team
• Take the lead in the dealing with the auditors (top 4 firm) and other stakeholders
• Be the lead financial partner in the dealing with recent joint venture
• Oversee the amalgamation of the acquisition of new companies and individual site acquisitions within the group
