Specifically, the work will involve taking on a caseload of homeless and vulnerably housed people and supporting them through a number of interventions including connecting clients with appropriate support services, accompanying them to appointments, assisting them in addressing wider health needs such as drug and alcohol use as well as needs around housing. 

The role will also include promoting to your clients the Creative Change Project activities, such as drop in's and workshops and other opportunities for people to engage in positive activities, build a sense of community and develop self confidence to improve chances of health, housing and employment.

We are looking for an Engagement Worker who is highly motivated and has some experience of working in a related field in a voluntary or paid capacity.

Hours:                                            35 hrs per week (will consider flexible working, job share)

Contract:                                         Permanent

Normal hrs to be worked:                 Monday - Friday

Location:                                         Morley Street, Brighton              

Salary:                                            £18,226 to £19,728 PA

This role requires an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and a barred list check.

Employment conditions

Employment conditions are detailed in the employment contract, which you can view.  Annual leave entitlement is 25 days plus bank holidays (pro rata for part time staff and fixed term contract staff). 

Personal development

Justlife will provide relevant training opportunities for this role. Personal coaching will be available to you throughout your employment. Performance reviews will take place no less than twice each year.
