About the Role

We are seeking an adaptable, flexible Receptionist/School Administrator to work with our office team. Our school is a vibrant and very busy environment with a staff team which is passionate about their work and the students. No previous experience of working in a school office is necessary but we need someone who is able to be reactive to the needs of the school, stay organised and keep all the processes in the office up to date. Being computer literate and willing to learn our management information system, as well as being a professional, first point of contact for our visitors are essential strengths.

Although this role is offered on a 12 month position, a permanent vacancy may arise.

Main responsibilities include:

- To work proactively under the direction of the Administrative Services Manager to provide an efficient and effective School Reception service.

- To deal with confidential information and work discreetly and with integrity

- Being responsible for registration and monitoring student absence from school and lessons

- Maintaining high and professional standards as the front line to the School

- Any other duties deemed appropriate to the role

The role is subject to an enhanced DBS check and you will also need your own reliable transport.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
