We are looking for someone who has:-

NVQ level 2 in playwork, childcare or equivalent experience
Excellent understanding of the needs of young children aged between 4- 11 years of age
Knowledge of relevant procedures and associated legislation (e.g. health and safety,
paediatric first aid and food hygiene)
Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection issues
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong commitment to equal opportunities

Grade: NJC Scale 3, pro rata (actual salary £3,160 - £3,415)
Hours per week: 8.75, term time only
Paid weeks per year: 46.2, inclusive of holiday entitlement
