This is an exciting post working in a very busy and challenging environment and the successful candidate will need to demonstrate that they have substantial experience and an understanding of :
Working with vulnerable clients with complex support needs including offending, mental health and revolving door clients. The ability to deal with conflict resolution and at times very challenging behaviour. An awareness of the issues surrounding single homelessness and substance misuse is essential. You will take responsibility for the safety and security of the hostels and their residents, ensuring that safety procedures and statutory obligations are adhered to. You will be involved in supporting single homeless people and liaising with other professionals. You will demonstrate empathy and understanding at all times and an ability to learn new skills. You will be expected to use reflective practice and attend monthly group clinical supervision. Grade: NJC Scale 6, shift work 7 day rolling Rota. Working every other weekend. Enhancements paid on weekend and evening work Permanent post
