Child Care Worker (Full time 40 hours per week)

This position involves you working in one of our four therapeutic residential children's homes, based in the South of England.  The role child care worker is to meet the day-to-day care needs of vulnerable children who present with challenging behaviour, whilst supporting them in working through the areas of their past experiences that continue to cause them difficulties in the here and now.

You will need to be committed to engaging with difficult to reach children, determined to provide the best you can, and consistent in your belief in the children in our care and that you can make a positive impact in their lives.

You will be expected to work a shift pattern that includes mornings (7.30 am 3.30 pm), evenings (2.30 pm to 10.30 pm), some weekend working and sharing the sleeping-in duties. This is a challenging and therefore rewarding role where no two days are ever the same.
