They will work with service users and local agencies to uphold their rights and offer advice and consultancy on LGB&T* issues to staff working for all partner agencies under the Portal. They will have particular regard to the needs of minority groups, children and young people.

They will help provide public information, assisting with training or consultancy services as required. They will help to maintain agreed monitoring systems ensuring accurate recording of client contacts and outputs. They will help to ensure that the service is accessible to all potential service users and will have particular regard to the needs and safety of children and vulnerable adults with additional needs.

The role requires that the worker openly identifies as LGB&T*.
