The Director of Standards and Effectiveness is a key senior post responsible for delivering educational excellence across the University of Chichester Multi-Academy Trust (the Trust).  The post holder will make a significant contribution to the overall leadership, management and strategic planning of the Trust and will lead on the delivery of the Trust's academy improvement plan.

You will take responsibility for leading and developing the day-to-day interface between the Trust and its academies on school effectiveness, standards and curriculum innovation. You will work with Headteachers, Principals and leadership teams to maximise the contribution of all staff to improve the quality of education provided and standards achieved.  You will commission University staff and external consultants to support the schools on their 'Journey to Excellence' and monitor the impact of their work.  You will have significant knowledge of the factors that contribute to school effectiveness, of school improvement strategies and of national issues associated with the delivery of excellence in education.
