About the Role

This is exciting opportunity for an experienced and skilled Qualified Teacher of the Vision Impaired to join a successful Sensory Needs Service providing support to children and young people, their pre-schools, schools and families across East Sussex so they can achieve their academic and social and potential.

The role involves supporting the planning for and assessment of children and young people with sensory needs, joint working with key professionals from a range of services, both within and outside of ISEND Provider Services.

This post is subject to an Enhanced DBS check or Enhanced check for Regulated Activity with the Disclosure & Barring Services (previously the Criminal Records Bureau). Please note that we require evidence of an overseas police check if you have lived or worked abroad.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.

Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System.
