The team is responsible for delivering national mandatory HMO licensing citywide plus two additional licensing schemes for smaller HMOs in 12 wards of the city and dealing with service requests from residents.

We are looking for enthusiastic and highly motivated individuals who wishes to progress in the field of private sector housing. Successful candidates will have an understanding of and be experienced in assessing housing health and safety defects and other Environmental Health issues relating to private sector housing.

You will have excellent organisational, communication and IT skills and be flexible in response to varying workload demands.

You must be a fully qualified Environmental Health Practitioner, registered as such with the Environmental Health Registration Board, and have experience relevant to the post.

Full-time - 37 hours per week
