The assessment and treatment team has a significant role in providing care and treatment to clients with mental illness, including initial and comprehensive assessments, ongoing recovery focused care management.

The job will include gate keeping and signposting, working in partnership with other agencies in the city. The successful post holder will additionally have a manageable caseload, which will include working short and longer term work with clients.

The successful post holder will be expected, alongside our other social workers, to have a role ensuring all of the following are integrated within our multidisciplinary teams; - all areas of the Social Care Agenda including, Implementing the Care Act, developing personalisation, undertaking Safeguarding Enquiries, undertaking Carers assessment and ensuring the Mental Capacity Act is enacted in practice, whilst simultaneously taking responsibility for the development of your continuing professional practice.

The Assessment & Treatment Teams are fully integrated and have developed an excellent supervisory structure, with embedded reflective practice. The recovery approach is central to our practice and offers new exciting ways of working.

Contracts: 3 x permanent

Hours: Full-time, 37 per week
