Our remit is to work with Service Users to encourage and assist them to be as independent as possible while living in their own homes. We work with people who may be vulnerable and can have complex issues.
The Duty Officer's role is crucial to the smooth running of the service and the successful candidates will need to work well under pressure; be able to communicate well with people at all levels, staff and service users and families; have good attention to detail and the ability to take responsibility and make decisions.
We use an electronic monitoring system and the Duty Officer must have excellent IT skills to ensure that this is operated efficiently.
