This post will support the implementation of Individual Electoral Registration by contacting individuals who have not responded to an invitation to register to vote.

In the role of Electoral Outreach Canvasser you will visit nursing homes as well as targeting activities at hard to reach groups such as students, short-term tenants, to ensure the registration of residents. A clean full driving licence is desirable and a flexible approach to hours are essential.

You will prioritise casework ensuring visits are carried out within time-limits. You will be able to deal confidently with members of the public, have excellent customer service and communication skills and a proficient level of IT literacy.

The ability to maintain high levels of accuracy and attention to detail is essential as you will be required to keep accurate records of visits and actions to ensure the integrity and accuracy of the electoral register is maintained.
