Pavilions is an exciting and new partnership which is delivered between Cranstoun, Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, Brighton Oasis project, Equinox and YMCA Downslink.

This new integrated drug and alcohol service went live on 1st April 2015, and provides treatment and recovery services for those affected by alcohol and drugs across Brighton and Hove.

We are seeking a highly confident, motivated and organised individual, who has demonstrable experience of planning, delivering and evaluating training, campaigns and events. The team works alongside local partners to educate and inform, improve health, reduce stigma and tackle discrimination.

The successful candidate will equip individuals with the skills and confidence required to support people affected by substance misuse. Working within the Health Promotion team, they will help to promote drug & alcohol identification and deliver advice training as a strategic priority. They will also educate staff and companies as a local objective via a range of training courses to practitioners, the community and student groups via Brighton & Hove City Council. 

The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate effective communication expertise with the ability to build and maintain effective professional partnerships. In addition, be able to design, deliver and evaluate training and present skills and advice across diverse groups and communities on a variety of topics related to substance misuse.

The applicant must also exhibit an in depth knowledge of using social media and online technologies, including phone applications, to deliver brief interventions and communicate with hard to reach communities and those less likely to access support.
