A highly established global organisation is currently looking for an experienced VAT Specialist to join the team in their Brighton office and manage a diverse portfolio of international clients.



About You:

* Excellent technical knowledge of EU VAT compliance and treatment across different countries.
* Proven background in building and maintaining relationships with clients.
* A proactive worth ethic and a desire to expand your technical knowledge of VAT.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work on your own initiative.
* Fluency in another European language is desired but not necessary.
* Strong IT skills, including Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.

About the Role:

* Work alongside other Account Managers in European VAT returns and registrations.
* Complete and process VAT returns and EC Sales List/ Intrstat reports.
* Identify ways in which current procedures can be improved.
* Build and maintain relationships with clients across Europe.
* First point of contact for your assigned portfolio of clients.
* Liaise with clients and ensure that excellent service is provided and deadlines are met.
