The Planned Response Service within Adult Social Care is looking for 3 Social Workers to work in a team of Social Workers and Care Managers in an exciting and forward thinking team environment.

Two Social Workers will focus on working with people with substance misuse and their carers with one full-time permanent position and one post to cover maternity leave for a fixed-term contract (or secondment for internal candidates) for a period of 9 months. The third Social Worker will work within mainstream Adult Social Care and this will be a full-time permanent position.

The successful applicants will be required to demonstrate the following:
That you work at the experienced level of professional capability in social work practice to nationally recognised standards, adopting a person centred and reflective approach.
Your recognised social work qualification and current HCPC registration will be supported by a strong track record of direct, complex social work with adults.
You will be confident in your knowledge and experience of safeguarding adults and the assessment of risk.
You will demonstrate experience of applying strengths based approaches and building on integration with health partners and drawing on community assets.
You will be a Best Interest Assessor or committed to undertaking the training to become a BIA.
You will have experience of working in statutory social services, and of working in a fast-paced duty environment.
