Dv8 Sussex is a specialist creative and digital skills provider that supports young people in Sussex with personalised, industry-led training. Now in our 13th year, our programmes have enabled many thousands of young people into employment, enterprise, volunteering and further education.

Dv8 Sussex offers young people the chance to develop skills in a supportive and ambitious environment where there are continual opportunities to work and think differently. We believe in education that develops skills to think creatively, solve problems, adapt to changes and work outside the box. We hope this means that whatever they do next, Dv8 students can do it better.

Dv8 Brighton Centre Manager – Who Am I?

The Centre Manager is a key role within the organisation, managing the operations of our busy training centre in Brighton.

You will run the service like clockwork, ensuring that teachers, students, external stakeholders and the rest of the senior management team have what they need and when they need it. You will take pride in managing safe, functional and creative spaces for working and learning (including four IT suites, learner and staff common rooms, a music studio, fashion and textiles workshop, offices and learning support facilities).

You will foster a positive culture for all at Dv8 Brighton, ensuring that resources work, that communication is effective and that everything is in place for teachers and students to thrive. You will be managing details, data, requests for information, celebrating successes and supporting students and staff, presenting reports to the MD one minute and greeting visitors the next – and all with a cheery disposition!
