Due to the expansion of the service, we now have 4 Behaviour & Attendance Officer vacancies available. The posts will be based at County Hall in Lewes (1 post), Ocean House in St Leonards on Sea (1 post) and St Mark’s House in Eastbourne (2 posts).  Applicants are asked to indicate their preference on which area they would like to be considered for.

Working directly with children and their families, you’ll conduct assessments and provide support to address concerns in relation to poor behaviour and attendance at school.

As part of a team of experienced staff, you will work alongside professionals in drawing up and delivering bespoke packages of support. This will involve mentoring the pupil, as well as working with the family and school to establish positive, effective working relationships.

A skilled practitioner, you will have experience of working with children and their families and the confidence to help those with behavioural and/or attendance problems. As well as a genuine interest in this area, you’ll also bring sound observation and evaluation skills and the ability to engage effectively with young people.
