Originally a deer hunting forest, Ashdown Forest, designated as a European Natura 2000 site and as a Site of Special Scientific Interest, is now one of the largest free public access spaces in the South East.
Following the retirement of the current post holder, the Board of Conservators of Ashdown Forest is looking to appoint either an exceptional candidate to take up the combined role on a full time basis, or, given the discrete skill set required for each, appointing two candidates on a part-time basis.
