We can offer you the opportunity to work as part of a team of committed Children's Services professionals in a city with enthusiastic and strong school leaders and positive partnerships. You will report to the Partnership Adviser: Health and Wellbeing. We are looking for a new member of our team to: • provide support and challenge to secondary and secondary special schools and the LA in developing effective strategies and intervention to improve PSHE Education and participation • provide guidance, advice, training and support particularly to PSHE Education Leads and Co-ordinators • contribute to the equality and inclusion agendas within schools and across the service as a whole. With experience of leadership in PSHE education and participation you will have: • Up to date knowledge and understanding of current developments in education and health and best practice in the effective teaching and learning of PSHE education • Experience of evaluating the impact of work to improve PSHE education and participation • Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to challenge effectively.  

Contract: Permanent, Part-time - 22.5 hours per week (secondment for minimum of two years would also be considered)
