Account Handler – Sussex Competitive Salary with Excellent Benefits

A market leading insurance firm is on the look out for experienced account handlers to join their team.
You will provide an effective broking and client service to achieve budget, client service standards and maintain and develop the business.
Your main responsibilities will include:
• Broking and Client Services
• Provide technical advice and resolve client queries
• Communicate regularly with clients to understand and meet their requirements and keep the Team Leader and colleagues informed of relevant activities, developments and issues
• Issue policy wordings, and produce endorsements, certificates and invoices to meet deadlines and client needs
• Place risks on best terms and in the most appropriate and secure market
• Maintain client and Company relationships to further develop/retain existing clients. Maintain and develop mutually supportive insurer/underwriter relationships to ensure effective placement of risks
• Cross sell Company products and services to existing and new clients
• Set-Up and maintain files and computerised records
• Issue renewal paperwork
Your responsibilities will also include:
• Undertake assigned project work
• Comply with relevant legal/regulatory requirements and Practice standards and procedures
• Champion Company brand and values and represent the Practice and Company in dealings with clients, insurers and other organisations
• Accountable for own performance and compliance against objectives and standards
• Required to make decisions based on established processes and procedures in relation to own job

The successful candidate will be Cert CII, with experience in the insurance industry (ideally within the education arena). Motor/motor fleet experience would also be beneficial.
